The story of the Poli family of Schiavon
is the story of many families from the Veneto region who settled on the Asiago plateau in the late Middle Ages to clear and cultivate the land. Families that towards the end of the 19th century descended to the plains, where it was easier to conduct productive and commercial activities. This is what the Poli family did, and in the space of five hundred years, from their native Gomarolo, they moved three times, covering a total of eighteen kilometres, to get to Schiavon, where they still reside today. A craft distillery founded in 1898, it is the only Italian distillery selected by Lonely Planet as one of the 10 craft distilleries in the world worth visiting.
Description
Herbalis Poli amaro is an exceptionally good liqueur, beneficial and relaxing, like walking through the paths of a botanical garden.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Burnt earth colour. Intense aroma of Mediterranean herbs, citrus, coriander and fennel. Fresh, citrusy flavour with a bitter finish.

Masterful infusion of fifteen medicinal botanicals including artichoke leaves, sage, rosemary and oregano, orange and lemon peel, Roman wormwood flowers, coriander and fennel fruits, in 3-year old brandy
