Venica & Venica is a family business that was founded in 1930 in Dolegna del Collio, in the province of Gorizia, when grandfather Daniele Venica bought the main body of the company. Today, ninety years later, the Venica family, with 40 hectares of vineyards all in the D.O.C. COLLIO production area, continues to produce the great wines of the territory with passion, sacrifice, success and unceasing love for the land, its vineyards and its grapes.
Description
Adelchi is a beautifully structured white wine from the vineyards of the Venica & Venica winery in Friuli. It was produced exclusively from Ribolla Gialla, the indigenous Friulian grape variety characterised by its bunches that, at the moment of ripeness, acquire a particularly warm and intense, almost golden colour, from which the attribute 'yellow' in the variety's name derives.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a greenish yellow colour. The bouquet, characterised by the scent of wild flowers, is pleasant and delicate. On the nose, notes of the typical Golden apple and Kaiser pear blend with citrus notes. In the mouth, great freshness typical of the variety and an almost brackish savouriness that goes hand in hand with a slight minerality.

Vinification
The grapes are macerated for about 14 hours at a temperature of 10°/12° C in special containers.
