Venica & Venica is a family business that was founded in 1930 in Dolegna del Collio, in the province of Gorizia, when grandfather Daniele Venica bought the main body of the company. Today, ninety years later, the Venica family, with 40 hectares of vineyards all in the D.O.C. COLLIO production area, continues to produce the great wines of the territory with passion, sacrifice, success and unceasing love for the land, its vineyards and its grapes.

Description

The name Ronco delle Cime is the place name of the vineyard from which the Friulano del Collio grapes come. The wine was produced from Friulano grapes, a local grape variety known in the past as Tocai. It is an exceptional, award-winning wine that is one of Venica & Venica's most representative labels.

Organoleptic characteristics: 

It has a sunny golden yellow colour. The bouquet ranges from Williams pear and yellow peach to delicate notes of herbs and wild flowers. In the finish a light almond. The palate is warm and harmonious, with a pleasant savouriness and freshness; it closes with the almondy flavour typical of Friulian wines.

Over 10 years

Vinification 

The grapes are then macerated for 18/24 hours at a temperature of 11°/12° C in special containers.
