Venica & Venica is a family business that was founded in 1930 in Dolegna del Collio, in the province of Gorizia, when grandfather Daniele Venica bought the main body of the company. Today, ninety years later, the Venica family, with 40 hectares of vineyards all in the D.O.C. COLLIO production area, continues to produce the great wines of the territory with passion, sacrifice, success and unceasing love for the land, its vineyards and its grapes.

Description

Ronco delle Mele from the historic Venica & Venica winery is a wine with great personality, one of the most acclaimed and award-winning white wines in Italy. It is made entirely from hand-picked Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

Organoleptic characteristics:

It has a dazzling green-gold colour. The olfactory complexity of this wine is incredible, as are the magical sensations that ensue. It opens with vegetal notes ranging from the classic tomato leaf to elderflower; then delicate citrus nuances of citron and pink grapefruit peep through. The palate is fresh, savoury with vegetal notes and a soft, velvety finish.

After harvesting, the grapes are macerated for about 20 hours at a temperature of 11°/12° C in special containers.
