The Bleeding Heart Rum Co., founded by Stephen Carroll of the UK, has launched for the first time a premium rum produced in the Philippines, one of the largest markets for rum production and consumption. Don Papa Rum (launched in 2012) is sold in award-winning packaging, French 70 cl glass bottle, Portuguese cork, Italian-printed label, brand image developed by New York-based studio Stranger & Stranger.
Description
Rum Don Papa Rye Aged produced from molasses of the best sugar cane from the Philippine island of Negros. Very limited production and aged in American rye casks (formerly Rue Whisky). It is a fragrant and beautifully whitened rum, complex and smooth.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Amber and golden colour. On the nose: Fruity with hints of rye spices. Its taste is rich, dry and velvety with a bright, long and delicate finish.
