Don Papa Gayuma is a super premium product that pays homage to the unique rituals performed by the shamans of Mount Kanlaon and Isla del Fuego ("the island of fire"). The rum, whose name refers to a "love potion," is aged in American ex-bourbon oak barrels for three years before going through a double barrel finish: six months in high-roasted ex-Rioja barrels followed by three months in rich, warm and smoky toasted oak barrels that previously contained Scotch whiskey from the legendary Isle of Islay.
