The Ganfranco Alessandria winery is located in Monforte d'Alba, one of the most renowned areas for the production of Barolo wines. The winery owns 5.5 hectares and rents 1 hectare of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto at San Giovanni, which is located in the area of the great Cru of Monforte, with south-eastern exposure, which allows the production of wines with great structure, freshness and elegance and longevity.
Description
With a production of about 7 hectares, located in Monforte d'Alba, Gianfranco Alessandria is a small family business. Vittoria Barbera d'Alba is a red wine from old vines, austere and of great taste-olfactory depth.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Ruby red in colour with violet hues. Strong nuances of undergrowth, herbaceous scents, small black fruits and sweet spices emerge on the nose. The sip is rich, warm, well-integrated tannin, long finish.

2 to 10 years
Vinification
Barbera grapes, which are vinified in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with a maceration period of 7-8 days
