Since 1956, Michele Chiarlo has been vinifying the essence of Piedmont, loving and enhancing the most incredible wine-growing area in the world. Cultivating 110 hectares of vineyards between Langhe, Monferrato and Gavi, the best crus in full respect of strict ecological criteria, terroir and their expressions. If tradition is a consolidated innovation, Michele Chiarlo can be fully considered a 'traditional' reality. They have always focused on enhancing the great terroirs of the Langhe and Monferrato, using only indigenous vines, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cortese and Moscato grown exclusively in the hills, which are the authentic expression and symbol of their terroir and the thousand-year-old wine culture of these places. Michele Chiarlo has chosen an integral sustainable approach, an attention to the environment and the production context that is reflected in every choice made by the winery in order to protect a landscape that is at the very basis of the quality of its wines
