Winery
Since 1956, Michele Chiarlo has been making wine from the essence of Piedmont, loving and enhancing the world's most incredible wine territory. Cultivating 110 hectares of vineyards between Langhe, Monferrato and Gavi, the best cru in full respect of strict ecological criteria, terroir and their expressions. If tradition is an established innovation, Michele Chiarlo can be fully considered a "traditional" reality. They have always aimed at enhancing the great terroirs of Langhe and Monferrato, using only indigenous grape varieties, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cortese and Moscato grown exclusively in the hills, which are the authentic expression and symbol of their territory and the millennial wine culture of these places. Michele Chiarlo has chosen an integral sustainable approach, an attention to the environment and the production context that reverberates in every choice of the winery in order to protect a landscape that is the very basis of the quality of its wines
