'Feudi Salentini' is a clear reference to Feudalism, when carriages and castles, ladies and knights were the protagonists of the magnificent panorama of this enchanted land where wine was considered the most prestigious and healthy drink.
Cosimo and Maria Teresa Varvaglione, with a team of young collaborators, every day write a story made of quality and love for this land. Bush-trained vines, grapes harvested by hand as they were then, ancient knowledge handed down over time...
In the winery, ancient traditions and modern technology transform extraordinary grapes into excellent wines. Feudi Salentini was established in 1994 in Leporano in one of the most beautiful areas of Salento, surrounded by vineyards, centuries-old olive trees and a crystal clear sea. We believe that the quality expressed in a wine can become the symbol of a territory, of a history that repeats itself, of a passion spanning generations. These awards give energy to a young and motivated group led by Cosimo and Maria Teresa Varvaglione.
Description
This red wine from the 125 collection is a 100% Negroamaro del Salento.
The particularity of 125 Negroamaro del Salento IGP is its alcohol content of only 12.5% alc. vol. This is possible thanks to the thermo-controlled temperature during the entire process, from harvest to production. Its low alcohol content makes it a very easy wine to drink despite its structure and fullness typical of the Negroamaro grape variety.
Organoleptic characteristics:
The wine is a bold red colour with amaranth hues and the nose reveals intense aromas of berries, especially blackberries and blueberries. The taste releases fruity notes of long persistence, with a velvety smooth flavour.
Storage time:
10-15 years
Vinification
Maceration at a controlled temperature of 24-28°C
