The Società Agricola I Capitani is located in the town of Torre le Nocelle (Avellino), in the district of Bosco Faiano, among 12 hectares of hilly land magnificently exposed and cultivated with vineyards and olive groves. The company's structure is dedicated to the production of noble wines and fine extra virgin olive oil, as well as offering a simple, but appreciated, rural hospitality.
Today, as always, supported by the desire and the pride of handing down the craft of his father, L' objective of the' company is to promote the image of Irpinia, a land rich in flavors, traditions and culture, through a project of careful attention to detail that aims to achieve perfection.
This unique wine from I Capitani is a project which aims at excellence. The highest expression of the great Irpinian white grapes (Fiano, Greco and Coda di Volpe). A wine with great power, structure, typicality, minerality and freshness, capable of evolving with time. The aging in small oak barrels for 6-8 months adds balance and personality.
Color: Straw yellow with intense golden reflections.
Bouquet: Delicate, elegant but persistent, with hints of vanilla, toasted almond, ripe yellow fruits and cedar zest.
Taste: Dry, soft, glyceric, mineral.
Pre-fermentative maceration on skins, alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts in first and/or second passage oak barrels.
