In 1998, the Cantine del Notaio winery was born out of a passion for viticulture, when Gerardo Giuratrabocchetti, a graduate in Agricultural Sciences, and his wife Marcella took up the challenge of valorising the Aglianico del Vulture grown in their vineyards, combining tradition, innovation, history and culture of the territory.
Together with Professor Luigi Moio, Professor of Oenology at the University of Naples "Federico II", research is carried out on the oenological potential of this vine, the most important in Southern Italy, austere and generous at the same time and capable of producing wines with extraordinary personality.
Description
Postilla Spumante Aromatico is a sweet wine made from Muscat grapes. The 'Postilla' grapes are harvested during the first week of September by hand. It is an aromatic, delicate and persistent sparkling wine with a long, pleasant finish and fruity hints of white peach.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Colour: Straw-coloured, brilliant.
Nose: Typical of Muscat, intense with hints of white flowers, acacia and delicate hints of sage.
Taste: The taste is sweet, aromatic, delicate and persistent, with a long and pleasant finish with fruity hints of white peach.
Vinification
soft crushing and destemming, fermentation takes place according to the traditional Charmat method, i.e. re-fermentation in an autoclave.
