Winery
Lungarotti made the history of wine in Italy and in the world, establishing itself as the emblematic winery of Umbrian enological excellence, a history of successes, which continues from generation to generation, based on quality viticulture, but also on the ability to build around wine a virtuous circuit focused on exceptional hospitality, valorization of historical and cultural heritage and authentic experiences in contact with nature. A universe of values that make up the Lungarotti Experience.
Description
At the beginning of the 2000's Lungarotti started experimenting with white varieties which could maintain the correct acidity even in hotter and hotter summers. Vermentino gave the best result. This wine is blended with Chardonnay, introduced in Umbria by Giorgio Lungarotti at the beginning of the 1970's.
The name "L'U" is given by the initial letters of "L'Umbria", the same of LUNGAROTTI: once again it underlines the strong link with the land of origin of the product.
