Description
Meditation wine of the Umbrian and Tuscan tradition, has always been produced by anyone who had some vines in the garden putting to wither the grapes in the attic hanging from the wooden beams of the roof or stretched on mats (grates) of straw.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: amber with golden reflections.
Bouquet: intense aromatic notes reminiscent of apricot, dried fig and white jam; notes of honey and yellow flowers in the finish.
Taste: balanced sugar concentration, with slightly citrusy acidity and intense fruity notes; long persistent finish and refined sweetness.
Storage time:
6-11 years old
Vinification
direct pressing in vertical hydraulic presses with a yield of 25%; slow fermentation in oak barrels
