Description
A modern and versatile wine, it owes its soft fragrance to Merlot and its freshness and complexity to Sangiovese.
Curiosity: the name "L'U" is given by the initial letters of "L'Umbria", the same of LUNGAROTTI: once again it underlines the strong bond with the land of belonging of the product.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: brilliant and intense red with violet nuances.
Bouquet: complex and warm, with notes of morello cherry, sour cherry and fruit under spirits; delicate hints of coffee, cocoa and sweet spices.
Taste: wine of good structure, supported by fresh acidity and harmonious tannins; closing on fresh red fruit and long and persistent aftertaste with a pleasant final softness.
Storage time:
2-3 years
Vinification
fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (26°C) with short maceration, daily pumping over and racking after 18 days
