A modern and versatile wine, it owes its soft fragrance to Merlot and its freshness and complexity to Sangiovese.
Curiosity: the name 'L'U' is given by the initial letters of 'L'Umbria', the same as LUNGAROTTI: once again underlining the product's strong link with the land to which it belongs
Organoleptic characteristics:
Colour: bright, intense red with violet hues.
Nose: complex and warm, with notes of morello cherry, sour cherry and fruit under spirits; delicate hints of coffee, cocoa and sweet spices.
Taste: beautifully structured wine, sustained by fresh acidity and harmonious tannins; closure on fresh red fruit and long, persistent aftertaste with a pleasantly soft finish.
Storage time:
2-3 years
Vinification
fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature (26°C) with short maceration, daily pumping over and racking after 18 days
