Feudi del Pisciotto is a Sicilian winery that is part of the Castellare di Castellina group owned by Paolo Panerai. It is the ancient feud with 44 hectares of vineyards and a production of about 400,000 bottles in the heart of the Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG. Sicily is the region that the ancients called Enotria by virtue of its celebrated vocation for grape growing. Not surprisingly, the climate and soils of this island are a guarantee of quality as well as quantity. This is why in recent years, thanks primarily to the pioneering work of some great Sicilian entrepreneurial families, to the valuable collaborations of a genius like Giacomo Tachis, as well as to the commitment of institutions such as the Regional Institute of Vine and Wine, viticulture on the island has undergone a true renaissance, cultural before even productive, made up of major investments in the capacity of this land to be able to produce wines of international level. In this new movement of Sicilian renaissance, Feudi del Pisciotto, the first Sicilian winery of the DCC group, is making its contribution, also strengthened by the experience gained by Castellare di Castellina and Rocca di Frassinello.
