The Baladin brewery was founded in 1986 in Piozzo (Cuneo) (the name means storyteller in Old French), from which the brewery took its name after its transformation into a brewpub, from an idea and passion of Teo Musso. From the outset, over 200 labels of beers were served, mainly foreign and mainly Belgian. With a fermentation system consisting of used milk tanks, the Blonde and Ambrée (in filtered and non-filtered versions) were born in 1996, and Teo decided to remove the 200 labels from the list to offer only his own creatures. One name has often crossed Teo's path since the beginning: Lorenzo Dabove, aka Kuaska. A great connoisseur and world-renowned beer taster, he discovers the young piozzese at the beginning of his activity and with him creates, years later, the TeKu™: the first glass for tasting craft beers. The first 10 hectares of spring distichous barley were planted in Melfi (Basilicata) under Baladin's direct management, the year in which Baladin was awarded by Unionbirrai as brewery of the year. Today, Baladin beers, curated with ever-increasing skill by Teo Musso, Paolo "Palli" Fontana and their staff, are produced using the best technologies to combine craftsmanship and quality. Over 30 variations of taste and format in continuous evolution and with always new recipe ideas to add
Description
American Pale Ale Rock'n'Roll is part of the Baladin hop line. The use of hops is certainly very ancient in brewing: they are endemic to much of Europe, so it is easy to imagine that they were widely used from the earliest brewers in history. In homage to this creeper, this is one of three proposals with profoundly different stories. "Like in a modern musical comedy, the cereal sings its sweet peppery notes." A 98.97% ITALIAN craft beer, the brewery is committed to supporting the Italian agricultural supply chain. Rock'nroll was born in 2012, on the occasion of the 100th issue of the Italian edition of the music magazine Rolling Stones, Baladin's creative machine created a beer dedicated to the event and to the whole world of R&R.
A strong beer that is fresh and all spice.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Deep golden yellow with amber hues, naturally cloudy. fine white foam of long persistence.
The nose opens immediately with a citrusy orange peel vanilla is in fact that immediately gives way to the spicy sphere with peppery notes that leads to the discovery of hints of cereal in a balanced harmony between freshness and warmth.
On the sip, the carbonation is lively with a good savoury note, with the interplay between malts and hops offering a suggestion of orange marmalade.
On the palate, however, the malty sweetness drops in intensity, leaving the field to a more forthright bittering note of orange pulp.
Storage time:
within 1-2 years
Vinification
Unpasteurised bottle-fermented
