Winery
In the province of Verona, very close to the center of Cerè di Negrar, on Cà Paletta mountain, rises Quintarelli winery; winery born at the beginning of 1900 from the intuition and foresight of the founder Silvio Quintarelli, who fully understood the great potential of his land, Valpolicella.
Today the baton is passed to the youngest of his sons, Giuseppe Quintarelli, who, with rigor and respect for tradition and territory, has established himself as one of the "masters" and points of reference in the production of Amarone.
Description
Quintarelli's Primofiore Rosso is a truly surprising wine, in particular if the bottle purchased is forgotten in the cellar for some years. It is a blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon; when young it releases vegetal notes, typical of Cabernet, but with the passing of the years it evolves towards spicy notes and hints of dried red fruit. It is produced in Negrar, in the noble heart of Valpolicella Classica, in vineyards located on hilly soils of volcanic and calcareous nature.
