In 1962 in San Marzano, a village in the center of the Primitivo di Manduria PDO, a strip of land between the seas that wash over Puglia, 19 winemakers founded Cantine San Marzano. Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria DOP Limited Edition 2018 della cantina San Marzano prodotto con uve primitivo da vecchi alberelli con almeno sessant’anni di età. Sessantanni Primitivo è un’icona del territorio pugliese, in edizione limitata serigrafata. Un abito speciale per occasioni speciali.

Organoleptic characteristics: 

Very deep ruby red color. Wide and complex on the nose, fruity with hints of plums, cherry jam and hints of tobacco, slightly spicy. Full-bodied wine, soft and rich in noble tannins, with a finish that offers notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.

Storage time: 

4-9 years old

Vinification 

Thermo-controlled maceration and alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts for about 10 days at 24-26°C. Final racking with soft presses
