Ferrari is the winery of excellence for Trento Doc bubbles. The Ferrari myth was born from one man, Giulio Ferrari, and his dream of creating a wine in Trentino that could compare with the best French Champagnes.Giulio Ferrari was a pioneer. He was the very first to sense the extraordinary vocation of his land and was the first to spread Chardonnay in Italy. He began to produce a select few bottles, with an obsessive cult for quality. Having no children, Giulio Ferrari looks for a successor to whom he can entrust his dream. Among the many suitors, he chooses Bruno Lunelli, owner of a wine shop in Trento. Thanks to his passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno Lunelli manages to increase production without ever compromising on quality. Today it is the third generation of the Lunelli family that keeps the Ferrari dream alive. Marcello, Matteo, Camilla and Alessandro lead the company together with an extraordinary team with the goal of innovating in the wake of tradition, bringing Ferrari to the world as an ambassador of the Italian Art of Living.

Description

Giulio Ferrari Rosè Riserva del Fondatore fully expresses the refined sensuality of Mountain Pinot Noir. It is a seductive Trentodoc, a perfect synthesis of the character of Pinot Noir and the elegance of Chardonnay. It is born only in vintages worthy of a great Riserva and is aged on the lees for over ten years, winning the challenge of time and standing as a candidate to become the icon of Italian rosé bubbles. This is the fifth vintage of this special Riserva. The 2010 Giulio Ferrari Rosé is produced in a very limited number of examples.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Glowing salmon color with auburn flashes that push toward coral. The perlage mesmerizes with fine, copious bubbles. Delicate hints of rosehip jam and citrus intertwine with spicy and mineral notes in an immediate sensation of pure and intense pleasure. The palate is striking for its vibrant intensity. The great concentration is balanced by the fresh savory thrust that makes the sip very long, drawing a perfect flavor picture.

Storage time:

2 to 10 years old

Vinification

Fermentation in steel and refermentation in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, a minimum of ten years' aging on the lees.
