Description
Sangiovese comes from lowland vineyards which make it particularly suited for the production of a rose wine.
Its nautical appeal and refreshing taste make it a great galley wine, but it's still a cool wine that's easy to drink year-round at any latitude.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: pale salmon pink with light violet hues.
Bouquet: fresh, floral, delicate and well balanced reminiscent of rose, wisteria and star anise with fruity notes (morello cherry and raspberry) on the finish.
Taste: fresh and elegantly mineral, it has a savory finish and a soft aftertaste due to the fermentation that is not completely completed.
Storage time:
1-3 years old
Vinification
after a limited maceration and subsequent quick separation from the skins, the must is fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature (15°C).
