Winery

Cantine Due Palme was founded in 1989 and its main goal is the vinification of quality products, obtained from the typical grapes of the territory such as Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, Primitivo and Susumaniello. All production phases, from the cellar to the aging process and to the bottling line, are guaranteed by meticulous quality controls. Among the few cooperatives in Italy to be able to boast the description on the back label of wines "wholly produced" in the company; an assurance of quality and traceability of the supply chain unique in its kind, which allows to follow at any time the evolution of the raw material, from the bunch of grapes to the glass of wine. Uniting to grow: uniting to strengthen our presence in the territory, stimulating a sharing of production from the bottom centered on the quality of grapes, organizing ourselves to generate a strong propensity for international markets; these are the cornerstones of our company, which have allowed, and allow, many small producers to express their full potential, while respecting the three-thousand-year-old wine tradition of our territory. We have always focused on the preservation of the Apulian Alberello which allows us to obtain grapes of exceptional quality, with a complex and full bodied fruit. Cantine Due Palme is today a symbol of excellence of Apulian enology, an important testimony of this territory, of its history and tradition.

Description

Nero di Troia is one of the region's oldest wines, just as the name "Priam" sinks into tradition, recalling the warrior king of the Greek city of Troy, according to mythology. Priam, the redeemed, as History refers him to us. And a story of redemption is also that of Nero di Troia, thanks to the great interest of international oenology in native wine production. The blend with Malvasia Nera gives it a very appealing and elegant roundness.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Intense ruby red wine, the aromas explode in red berries, cherry and morello cherry. In the mouth has a perfect balance of ripe fruit.
