The Pierfabio Mastronardi Vignaiolo winery was founded in 2017 by Pierfabio Mastronardi after years of study, refinement and work in the field. The winery is located in Castellana in the province of Bari, with the intention of enhancing an ancestral place for Apulian winemaking: Canale di Pirro, one of the most important dolines in the Land of Bari. Sincere wines that tell of the morphological complexities of the territory in which they are born, characterised by acidity and sapidity.
Description
'Sullerocce' represents a new chapter for winemaker Pierfabio Matronardi, in which he encapsulates all the essence of the land he cultivates. It tells of the limestone rock, which is the tangible essence of the structure of his wines. A macerated verdeca with heady aromas. Only 950 bottles produced
Organoleptic characteristics:
Straw yellow colour with golden hues. Notes of herbal herbs, Marigold and Lentisk, acacia, candied citrus fruit. Sour attack and persistent herbal notes, palate however citrusy and with a persistent tannic vein
Storage time:
2-5 years
Vinification
Maceration on the skins for about three months, fermentation in steel. No clarification or filtration
