"Ca' del Bosco", one of the most prestigious wine houses in the Franciacorta area, a symbol of Made in Italy excellence in the world. Its story began in the mid-1960s, when Annamaria Clementi bought "Ca' del Bosco", a small house in the hills of Erbusco, two hectares of property immersed in a dense forest of oak and chestnut trees. It has always been the source of inspiration for her son Maurizio who, thanks to his passion, transformed this small house into a wine excellence, a leader in the production of Franciacorta.
Description
Annamaria Clementi from the Ca' del Bosco winery is an exceptional Franciacorta sparkling wine produced with the Classic Method using Chardonnay 82%, Pinot Nero 15% and Pinot Bianco 3% grapes. It is made from the best grapes selected from the various crus and only in the best vintages. 25 base wines of origin, it is tapped to give rise to Annamaria Clementi. It has a very long maturation in contact with yeasts, which lasts for more than 8 years to give it its unique profile. It is an elegant, complex, enveloping and fresh sparkling wine.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a golden colour, with a very fine and very persistent perlage. The nose presents aromas of white flowers and ripe fruit, enriched by pleasant hints of marzipan and almond. On the palate it is elegant, complex, rich, savoury with a very long finish.
Storage time:
10-15 years
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in small oak barrels made from selected woods and matured for at least 3 years. Here it remains on its lees for a further 6 months, also undergoing malolactic fermentation. No compromises, no concessions: only wine from the best barrels, from the 25 base wines of origin, is tapped to give rise to Annamaria Clementi. Extremely long ageing in contact with the yeasts, which lasts for more than 8 years to give it its unique profile.
