The prestigious wineries Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore are two realities of Collio which find in their viticultural vocation - started in the second half of 1800, in Istria - what can be considered as a real dynasty of winemakers, which has been able to enhance the potentialities of some grapes and of territories with a vocation for vine. In the thirties, after the First World War, Giovanni Felluga decided to move to Friuli and more precisely to Collio. Marco, the penultimate of Giovanni's seven sons, continued the family business and in 1956 he established the homonymous winery. To him, trained since he was young at the prestigious enology school of Conegliano, is due the path of innovation, quality and research. The balance with which he managed to use innovation and tradition, made his winery a point of reference for the whole territory. Today, his son Roberto, who represents the fifth generation and now runs both wineries: Marco Felluga at Gradisca d'Isonzo (Gorizia) and Russiz Superiore at Capriva del Friuli (Gorizia), continues to follow the path of absolute quality he traced.

Description

Col Disôre is a clear reference to the name, in the Friulian language, of a hill in the territory of Russiz, which in 1648 was divided into "Russiz Disôre" (Russiz Superiore), the oldest part of the whole feudal settlement and mainly on the hills, and "Russiz di Sott" (Russiz Inferiore), the part on the plain.

Organoleptic characteristics: 

Intense straw yellow color with golden-green reflections. It is characterized by an elegant bouquet of acacia flowers and grapefruit accompanied by a vegetable background and sweet notes. Enveloping in the mouth, it is smooth, with a good extract. The balance between sapidity and freshness leads to a very long finish which develops into warm and almond notes.
